Sheet Rock

Sheet Rock
Sheetrock, which is also called drywall, makes up the walls and ceilings of a building. It gives you a clean surface to paint and decorate.
Putting up and framing
Screws or nails hold drywall sheets to wooden or metal studs, which make up the base structure of the inside of a building.

Floating and Taping
Joint compound is used to tape and cover the seams between drywall panels. This is sanded down to make a flat, smooth surface that is ready to be painted.

Getting Ready to Prime and Paint
Before painting or texturing, surfaces are primed to make sure that the color sticks and absorbs evenly.
