Building Pads

Building pads are flat surfaces that have been carefully leveled so that a building's foundation can be built on them. These pads are designed to equally distribute structural stresses and stop uneven settlement.

Soil Preparation

Includes taking off plants, organic matter, and loose dirt. The goal is to get to a solid subgrade that can be built on safely.

Pad Grading

Leveling

Using laser-guided tools, teams make sure that the earth is graded to the right level so that it matches the blueprints for the building and engineering.

Subgrade Stabilization

Stabilization

When the soil isn't strong enough, lime or cement is added to make it stronger. This method makes the pad strong enough to be used as a foundation even in bad soil.
