Building pads are precision-leveled areas prepared to host a building’s foundation. These pads are engineered to bear structural loads evenly and prevent uneven settlement.
Soil Preparation
Involves stripping away organic material, vegetation, and loose soil. The goal is to reach firm subgrade that can be built upon reliably.
Leveling
Using laser-guided equipment, crews grade the soil to a precise level, ensuring accuracy across the pad’s surface to align with architectural and engineering plans.
Stabilization
If the soil is weak, lime or cement is mixed into the ground to increase strength. This process makes the pad suitable for foundations even in poor soil conditions.
