Building forms create the skeleton into which concrete is poured. Steel rebar and high-tension cables inside these forms reinforce the structure and help it withstand stress and load.
Ribbed steel bars are placed in grid or cage formations. They improve concrete’s tensile strength, minimizing cracking and deformation under stress.
Used in post-tensioned systems, these steel cables are tensioned after concrete curing to resist flexing in wide spans like parking decks or commercial slabs.
Formwork consists of wooden or metal molds assembled to shape the poured concrete. It holds the concrete until it solidifies into a permanent structure.
